Students who wish to enroll in the January 2012 session of our after school program must first successfully pass our Orchestra Boot Camp course. This important course will empower your child with the skills and technique they need to join their peers in the after school class.

During the five week course, students will learn the following skills:

• Proper position and playing posture
• Ability to hold instrument on their shoulder
• Mastery of pizzicato (plucking with the fingers)
• Ability to place left hand fingers in the appropriate place
• Read music notation for the D and A strings

• January 2012: Students will meet at a satellite location for Orchestra Boot Camp.
• Your initial payment includes tuition for the five-week Orchestra Boot Camp course for the month of January.
• Students must pass the Orchestra Boot Camp course in order to attend their after school class in February. After passing the course, the monthly tuition fee is automatically debited on the first on each month beginning February 2012.
• The after school orchestra program concludes with a spring cluster concert in May.
